Introduction to S-23 :
Like most SARMs, S-23 was developed by SARM developer GT-X. It is an orally effective non-steroidal SARM with high binding affinity to the androgen receptor. This makes it more potent than other popular SARMS such as Ostabolic (mk-2866) or Andarine (S-4). Therefore, the main effect of S-23 is to increase muscle mass and reduce fat mass. It also has a therapeutic effect on benign prostatic hyperplasia and hypertrophy, which can reduce the size of the prostate. However, it is still in the early stage of research, compared to other more common SARM products , S-23 is relatively unpopular.
Additionally, a dose equivalent to 15 milligrams (mg) in a 180-pound male was shown to increase bone mineral density and promote muscle mass gains and fat loss in a study in mice. Therefore, S-23 has a wide range of uses, and it can be arranged in any muscle-building or fat-reducing cycle
Other uses of S-23 :
A 2009 study on mice showed that S-23 could be used as a male contraceptive. In this study, 6 mice were given a daily dose of 0.1 mg for 10 weeks. As a result, both LH (luteinizing hormone) and FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone) levels decrease. These effects were statistically significant because four of the six mice had no sperm in their testes. What’s more, none of the mice were able to impregnate the female mice during the mating trials. However, this contraceptive effect is temporary – about 100 days from the last dose, the infertility is reversed and the pregnancy rate is 100%.
S-23 side effects :
The main side effect of S-23 use is the suppression of natural testosterone production. This gives it potential as a male contraceptive and makes it very different from other SARMS in that S-23 has an extremely high rate of suppression of its own testosterone production. As a result, S-23 is less popular than other SARM products, and most users will consider that instead of using you, I might as well just use steroids to pull it off. Unfortunately, there are no human studies, so little is known about other potential side effects few.
Dosage and cycle of S-23 :
If S-23 is used for increasing muscle and reducing fat, then the dosage of 15-25mg per day is more appropriate. On the other hand, if one wishes to use it for its contraceptive effect, a dose of about 50mg or more per day will be more effective. But I don’t recommend it for contraception, because no research has been done on humans, the results are only the results of experiments on mice, and S-23 has not been tested on humans
